Curfew hours in Lapu adjusted for fiesta celebration
The city government of Lapu-Lapu has adjusted its curfew hours today (November 19) until Saturday to celebrate the feast of Nuestra Señora de Regla-Parish National Shrine during those days.
“Perhaps, we will give consideration tomorrow for fiesta-goers, but they should not stay until early morning,” Mayor Junard Chan said in the vernacular.
From 10 p.m., Chan said the city would adjust the start of the curfew hour to midnight during those days. (https://bit.ly/3lbiU7J)
The end of the curfew, however, still remains at 4:00 a.m.
Meanwhile, the mayor reminded those who would prepare food during the fiesta not to invite visitors that’s beyond the capacity of their house.
They must observe the minimum health protocols, such as the wearing of a face mask and social distancing, he added.
