Councilor Gullas mulls use of security cams in schools
A resolution has been filed with the Talisay City Council requesting that all schools in the city install surveillance cameras.
Author Councilor Digul Gullas, chairman of the education panel, said his goal is to protect students both inside and outside of schools.
Students can concentrate on their studies, and their parents won’t have to worry about their safety, he explained. (https://bit.ly/3y1GdXT)
Gullas said that he has already coordinated with the heads of other committees, such as the committee on peace and order, to get the matter moving.
The councilor also filed another resolution requiring tracking chips to be placed on students’ IDs so their parents can always track where they are.
