Controversial cop Espenido now in Camp Delgado, ready to wage war on drugs
Police Lt. Colonel Jovie Espenido, the police official linked to the deaths of two alleged narcopoliticians, has reported to the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) headquarters in Camp Delgado, Iloilo City.
“Kahit saan ako ma-assign I am willing to help address the illegal drug problem. That is our main concern. Magtrabaho lang tayo para sa kabutihan ng ating bayan,” said Espenido.
He added that high-value drug personalities would be prioritized. (https://www.panaynews.net/espenido-now-in-camp-delgado-hes-ready-to-wage-war-vs-drugs-anywhere-in-wv/)
While waiting for a special order from the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame for his specific post, Espenido is temporarily under the Regional Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit.
Malacañang earlier said that Espenido’s transfer to the Western Visayas police was a response to the illegal drug problem in Bacolod City.
