Coming in 2021: AFP to acquire amphibious combat earthmover from Turkey
The Armed Forces of the Philippines may get an armored amphibious combat earthmover called the Kunduz from Turkey in 2021.
This was after the AFP signed a deal with Turkish defense firm FNSS, company CEO Nail Kurt told Turkey’s Anadolu Agency.
Kurt said the sale of the earthmover to the Philippines will be Kunduz’s first export (http://northboundasia.com/afp-to-acquire-amphibious-combat-earthmover-from-turkey/).
The Kunduz is an amphibious, armored, tracked, combat earthmover designed to prepare river banks during river-crossing missions.
Its capabilities include bulldozing, rough grading, excavating, hauling, and scraping.
