City ready to vaccinate children aged 12 and over: Treñas
Iloilo City is ready to vaccinate minors 12 to 17 years of age by October, Mayor Jerry Treñas said.
Around 4,500 minors in the city have pre-registered for Covid-19 vaccination.
“We will open two vaccination sites,” said Treñas, adding that the city has enough vaccines for the kids. (https://bit.ly/3kCtkx7)
Malacañang earlier said the government’s Covid-19 task force will still discuss the proposal to vaccinate children.
Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez said the Covid-19 vaccination of minors may begin by mid-October depending on supplies and go-signal from experts.
