City gov’t to recommend lifting of lockdown in Sitio San Isidro
The Cebu City government will recommend for the lifting of the lockdown status in Sitio San Isidro, Barangay Quiot, said City Legal Officer Rey Gealon.
Gealon, spokesperson of Mayor Edgardo Labella, said the city’s recommendation is based on the data from the Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7), City Health Department (CHD), and Philippine National Police, who are conducting the contact tracing and swab testing.
Sitio San Isidro is among the six areas placed under granular lockdown since July 25, as a measure to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease. (https://bit.ly/2DmPnVd)
Other areas placed under granular lockdown are Sitio Eyha in Barangay Guadalupe, Balaga Drive to Sitio Cekalco in Barangay Labangon, Tuada Compound in Barangay Tisa, Abellanosa Compound in Barangay Quiot, and C. Mina Extension in Barangay Mabolo.
Gealon said the lifting of the granular lockdown status of the other areas would be based on the report from the CHD and DOH.
Swab testing is continuously being conducted in these locked-down areas, he added.
According to him, assistance such as sacks of rice, canned goods, water, and medicine are already provided in these areas.
