Chedz Alvarez snags a local Van Gogh painting
This piece is more stunning because it’s all made of recycled materials.
Former Negros Occidental Rep. Mercedes “Chedz” Alvarez may be out of politics, but that is not stopping her from doing being an influential icon and earth warrior.
Alvarez recently dropped by the gallery of the Artisans of Hope, a foundation that seeks to help locals make a living through their craft. While browsing, she immediately fell in love with a piece called “Under The Sea,” which was made of recycled plastic capsules, broken tiles, and egg shells.
To her, it was a local Van Gogh which she had to have.
She’s got good taste for meaningful art!
