Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama plans to launch a heritage walk through some of the city’s old and historic cemeteries, dubbed “Gabii sa Kagikan.”

Last Monday, Rama said the “cemetery tour” may be done a week before the observance of the All Saints and All Souls’ Day.

“I am encouraging you, visit the cemetery,” the city mayor said. (https://bit.ly/3HUVizr)

In 2015, Balbino “Ka Bino” Guerrero, a local guide, and photographer Herbert Kikoy initiated the “Cementouryo,” a tour that connects art and history.

Photographers explored cemeteries during the event to capture fascinating images, including the Doña Pepang Cemetery, Carreta Cemetery, and Cebu Chinese Cemetery.
