Cebu, Iloilo airports ranked among the best in Asia

The Cebu and Iloilo airports made it to the top 20 best airports in Asia, the latest survey by travel website The Guide to Sleeping in Airports showed.

The Mactan Cebu International Airport ranked 16th while the Iloilo International Airport came in at No. 18.

Singapore’s Changi airport has been named the best airport in Asia and the world.

“Year after year, Singapore Changi Airport tops our list of Best Airports in the World, and there’s no shortage of reasons why when you discover all the airport has to offer. Among the highlights: free movie theatres, gardens, free city transit tours, nap zones, cultural activities, and much more,” according to the travel website.

Other best airports include Seoul Incheon Airport, Helsinki Airport, Tokyo Narita International Airport, Osaka Kansai International Airport, Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, Vancouver International Airport, Munich International Airport, Hong Kong International Airport, and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

“Top airports have a lot in common: plenty of seating, rest areas, a good amount of food options, helpful staff and efficient check-in, and security procedures. Some airports go above-and-beyond with perks like in-terminal movie theatres and gardens. The best thing about each of these airports is their willingness to improve on already top-notch facilities,” the annual survey said.
