Cebu City to resume vaccinating seniors on May 3
The vaccination rollout for seniors against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cebu City will resume tomorrow, May 3, Mayor Edgardo Labella said.
According to Labella, nearly 10,000 Sinovac vaccines had been allocated to the city from the Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7).
On April 31, the DOH-7 received more than 56,000 vaccines and these would be distributed to the provinces and highly urbanized cities in the region. (https://bit.ly/3e9prfS)
The three vaccination sites in the city would resume operation on Monday to primarily accommodate seniors, said Jeffrey Ibones, officer-in-charge of the City Health Department.
By Wednesday, Ibones said the rollout for the second dose would also begin simultaneously with the senior citizen rollout.
The rollout, he added, would depend on the available vaccines.
