Capiz sets aside P11M for vaccine vs coronavirus
The provincial government of Capiz has allotted P11 million for the procurement of vaccines against coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccines once they become available.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Capiz passed Appropriation Ordinance No. 103-2020 for the said purpose.

The fund to be utilized for the purchase of the vaccine will be taken from the savings of the province from 2017 and 2018, and the 2019 20-percent Development Fund.
The legislative body earlier passed Resolution No. 383-2020 encouraging the 17 local government units of Capiz including Roxas City “to earmark a portion from their 2021 Budget for the purchase of vaccines against COVID-19 to be used by their constituents.”
