Build! Build! Build! P77B infrastructure projects in Western Visayas identified
The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) has identified P77 billion worth of infrastructure projects for the Western Visayas under the Duterte administration.
One of the big-ticket projects identified was the bridge network that will connect three Visayan islands, namely, Panay, Negros and Guimaras, which costs a whopping P27.15 billion.
Other projects included in the pipeline are the rehabilitation of the Iloilo International Airport with a project cost of P30.4 billion and the P19.3-billion megadam project, the Panay River Basin Integrated Development project in Capiz.
The detailed engineering study of the multi-billion bridge project is scheduled to be finished by the end of the year.
