BOSS’ operations extended in Bacolod
The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) of Bacolod has approved an ordinance extending Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) operations in the city.
BOSS, which was originally scheduled to operate from January 3 to 20, was extended until February 28.
BOSS provides easier and faster business permit issuances and real property tax payments by having all concerned local government departments and agencies in one place.
Mayor Evelio Leoanrdia earlier requested the SP to extend BOSS, citing a letter from the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Councilor Caesar Distrito, chairman of the Committee on Laws, Ordinances and Good Government, said its extension will give businesses in the city enough time to complete their requirements.
