Negros Oriental 1st Board Member Manuel “Chaco” Sagarbarria took his oath as the new vice governor of the province.

According to the photo released by the Office of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez Interior and Local Government Sec. Benhur Abalos Jr. administered the oath of office to Sagarbarria.

Present during the event were Romualdez and Negros Oriental 2nd District Rep. Manuel “Chiquiting” Sagarbarria.

Sagarbarria will replace Vice Governor Carlo Jorge Joan Reyes who will be the new governor following the assassination of Gov. Roel Degamo.
