Ben Evardone shows Eastern Samar back to its serene state
Life would never be the same, but Ben Evardone is thankful that the worst is over.
The governor faced a gruelling week as he had to look after residents of Eastern Samar as typhoon Ambo wrecked towns last week. It seemed that the province was turned upside down in a day due to the heavy rains and strong winds, which is a double whammy as people were also wary about the coronavirus.
Fast forward to a few days later, the politiko captured beautiful scenes starting to return in the province. His hometown even returned to its picture perfect state, which he shared on Instagram.
“Calm after a devastating typhoon. Time to start rebuilding,” Evardone said.
