Bacolod to drop Covid-19 test requirement for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated Bacolod-bound travelers will no longer need to secure a negative RT-PCR test result soon.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia was crafting an executive order easing travel requirements for individuals traveling to Bacolod, said Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran.
Familiaran said the move to ease travel restrictions would further open up the local economy. (https://bit.ly/3ABoyEK)
The provincial government of Negros Occidental earlier announced it will no longer require fully vaccinated travelers heading to the province to present a negative RT-PCR test result prior to arrival.
They are only required to secure a travel coordination permit via the S-PaSS system, and complete registration to StaySafe.ph.
