Councilor Caesar Distrito in a Panay News article said the post was created following the “ongoing developments in economic and infrastructure” in the city, said
Bacolod “requires a lot of administration efforts and an assistant city administrator is necessary to support and to work hand in hand with the administrator particularly in terms of developing plans and strategies relating to enhancing the management and administration-related programs of the city and in instituting effective administrative reforms,” Distrito explained.
