Art Yap takes a 1-day cultural crash course in Baclayon
Governor Arthur Yap got a taste of all things Boholano in a day.
The politiko spent the weekend at Casa Cecilia in Baclayon, as he wanted to study how to better push for and market Bohol’s culture for tourism.
Yap went inside the Manalo house where he saw antique collections of the belen, as well as old shrines for patrons.
Next, he was greeted by the Usbong Papet Baclayon, who performed “The Jewel of the Virgin.” They were followed by the world-renowned Loboc Children’s Choir, which almost had him crying.
What a tour!
