Antique placed under GCQ until Oct. 31
Antique Governor Rhodora Cadiao has issued Executive Order No. (EO) 187 placing the province under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions for the whole month of October.
As of September 30, Antique recorded 378 active Covid-19 cases.
Under EO 197, returning Antiqueños from areas outside Western Visayas must secure a notice of coordination and acceptance from the Municipal Coordinator for Returning Antiqueños of the receiving municipal local government unit and a negative RT-PCR test result, provided that the test has been conducted after a five-day strict quarantine from the point of origin.

Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs) should provide their travel/mission order, travel itinerary and valid identification card; and secure negative RT-PCR test result provided that the test has been conducted after a five-day strict quarantine from the point of origin, and was issued not earlier than three days before travel to the province.
For essential travel outside the province for provincial government employees and self-employed and/or private APOR, a travel pass shall be issued by the Office of the Governor and the local government unit, respectively.
For establishments, here are the guidelines:
-Leisure activities in the Department of Tourism (DOT)-accredited resorts are temporarily prohibited. However, the operation of accommodation establishments and restaurants will be allowed, subject to DOT guidelines issued.
-Indoor and outdoor dine-in services will be at 50 percent of the seating capacity.
-Agencies and instrumentalities of the government will be operational at a minimum of 30 percent up to full-on-site capacity as determined by the head of the agency in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations of the Civil Service Commission.
-Religious gatherings are allowed at 50 percent of venue capacity.
-Gatherings for neurological services, wakes, inurnment, funeral for those who died of causes other than Covid-19 19 are permitted up to 30 percent of the venue capacity for a maximum of five days only.
Meanwhile, entertainment venues with live performers, recreational venues such as internet cafes and billiard halls, amusement parks or theme parks, outdoor sports courts and venues are still not allowed to operate.
