Antique-Pampanga flights seen to open this month
The Evelio B. Javier Airport in Antique province may soon see new flights to Clark International Airport starting October 28.
Officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines and Antique Provincial Government met early this week to discuss preparations for a new flight service connecting Antique and Pampanga.
But Philippine Airlines (PAL), the country’s national airline, does not want the public’s hopes up.
The October 28 schedule for the maiden flight is “a little tight,” said PAL fleet safety pilot Timothy Jason Mapeso.
He however assured that the maiden trip will take place this year.
