Antique mayor urges public to stop spreading false info on coronavirus
Authorities in San Jose, Antique urged residents to stop spreading malicious reports relating to the town’s second confirmed case of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as it causes public alarm.
Mayor Elmer Untaran said the Department of Health is the one authorized to announce updates on Covid-19 cases based on the swab test results.
“We are not in the position to announce prior or until there is official a statement from where they had swab test,” added Untaran. (https://bit.ly/30CqcY6)
