Ang petty! Mike Rama calls out politicking via Cebu relief goods
Why do some barangays get more or better relief packs than others? Mike Rama thinks there’s one thing to blame.
The Cebu City vice mayor cried foul over the inequalities in the relief goods given out to residents, saying that some might have been using it to favor allies to the disadvantage of their rivals.
“Many have visited my office and have informed me that the distribution of rice and other essential goods have become highly politicized. I urge my fellow public servants to put the interests of the people above political ambitions,” the politiko said.
“We must stick to performing our duties, political should never be the consideration especially in a time of crisis. Let’s not put people at risk or let their suffering continue because of petty politics,” he added.
This must stop now.
