12 WVSU grads top nursing board exam
West Visayas State University (WVSU) produced 12 topnotchers in the recent licensure exam for nurses.
Almira Louise Hinsoy topped the board examination with a rating of 87.40 percent. Hinsoy shared the No. 1 slot with Jeremiah Paula Caceres of Angeles University Foundation.
Here is the list of WVSU graduates who made it to the Top 10:
*Dennise Kim Marie Luig (87. 20 percent);
*Michaelle Christiane Con-El (87 percent);
*Gerone Marie Saquian, Shaniah Grace Condag, Joseph Dann Enero, and Kaila Mae Laurete Macairan (86.80 percent);
*Thomas Benroe Supena (86.20 percent);
*Jenrose Victor Buenvenida (85.80 percent);
*Rona Jane Lanzuela (85.80 percent); and
*Tristan James Amaguin and Angel Mae Malones (85.60 percent).
WVSU garnered a 100-percent passing rating. This is the fifth consecutive year that the state university posted a 100 percent rating in the board examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission said 5,059 out of 9,691 examinees passed the Nurse Licensure Examination.
