Guv Dodod Cadiao sends Visayan soldiers to Marawi as reinforcements
This politiko is off to extend help to Mindanao.
Antique Governor Rhodora “Dodod” Cadiao sent off 409 soldiers from the 82nd Infantry Battalion to help out Marawi City and nearby areas, as the firefight between the Maute terrorists and government forces stretches to a month.
Cadiao, who chairs the Region VI Development Council, sent the military men from all over Western Visayas to Mindanao as a “follow-on” force. They will fill the positions left vacant in the region by those who were deployed in battle.
