Finish na! Neg Occ vice governatorial race cut down to one
The vice gubernatorial race in Negros Occidental for 2019 is now former district Rep. Jeffrey Ferrer’s to lose, after rival Raul Baterna withdrew his candidacy.
Baterna, who filed his certificate of candidacy last Oct. 11 as an independent candidate, filed his withdrawal document notarized by lawyer Narciso Javelosa.
His withdrawal meant Ferrer will run unopposed. Ferrer is running under the unified ticket of the United Negros Alliance and the Love Negros Team (https://thedailyguardian.net/negros/vice-guv-candidate-withdraws-from-race/).
He is the official candidate of the UNegA while his running mate for governor, Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, is the candidate of the Love Negros Team.
