Find out why pick-up lines will be a hit in Negros

Here’s an early tip for politicians wanting to campaign in Negros Occidental: Prepare your lines to woo the girls.

That’s because the Commission on Elections in the province reported there are now more female than male voters.

The Visayan Daily Star cited a Comelec consolidated accomplishment report of the Comelec showing the province has 834,106 female and 798,173 male voters.

It added there are 873 indigenous people registered as voters; 11,213 persons with disability; 259,183 senior citizens; and 399,765 Sangguniang Kabataan.
