Cordova and Talisay towns benefit medical missions
More than 800 residents in Cordova town and Talisay City in Cebu benefited from recent medical missions conducted by the Cebu provincial government this week.
In Cordova, a team from the provincial government offered dental, medical and eye checkups, and set up a feeding station.
Cordova Vice Mayor Victor Tago III thanked the provincial government for the community program (http://www.cebu.gov.ph/news/hundreds-benefit-from-medical-missions-in-talisay-city-and-cordova-town/).
In Talisay City, meanwhile, residents also availed of similar services, including a free Operation Tuli for some 100 young boys.
Organizing the medical missions were the Office of the Vice Governor, Provincial Health Office, Office of Sixth District Provincial Board Member Thadeo Ouano, Office of First District Provincial Board Member Raul Bacaltos, Southwestern University-MHAM, and AFP Central Command.
Provincial Board Member Glen Bercede of the sixth district was also present during the activity in Cordova.
