Cebuano councilor commends Osmeña on skate park plan
Cebu City Councilor Joel Garganera lauded the move of Mayor Tomas Osmeña to construct the proposed 4,000-square-meter skate park at the back of Fort San Pedro.
Osmeña earlier announced that the P12-million skate park would be built at the 26-hectare South Road Properties.
“I commend the mayor for listening, for not insisting anymore to put the skate park there in SRP,” Garganera said in a Cebu Daily News article.
According to him, the new location makes skateboarding more accessible and ideal for skateboarders.
The project includes a rink with street course, flat course for beginners, half pipe, bowl, pump track, and mini grandstand.
