Bata pa! Teen drug ring head falls in Bacolod
So young, yet so sinister?
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy in Bacolod City over allegations he is running an Islamic drug group in the area.
Bacolod City Police Office spokesperson Superintendent Noel Polines said the teen is from Mindanao and heads the Islamic drug group “Camaria.” He was a former drug surrenderee.
The boy, deemed a high-value target drug personality, was arrested in Purok Gonzaga in Barangay Taculing Tuesday evening.
Seized from him were four sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) worth P200,000.
Polines said the teen can dispose of at least 50 grams of shabu per week, and was managing the disposal and distribution of shabu in their group.
He said the suspect owns a car and a fully-furnished house with high-end appliances, despite lacking a job.
